Wow what fun I had this year growing this Korean squash. This squash was sweet, tender and yummy. When I looked up information all I could find is that it was a summer squash that tasted like a zucchini so I decided to try it.
I found out that not only was the squash a wonderful delicious tasting summer squash, it also was a very sweet and orange winter squash. Which means, I can eat, cook, and enjoy this squash all season.
This is how it happened!
I saved two of my squash for the seeds and put them into the garage. When I went to look at them after a time, they had turned orange. I did not know it would turn into a pumpkin. Now that I know its a summer and a winter squash, next year I will save more for the winter storage.
