Let’s take a look at planting seeds in a seed box. I will also go over a bit of indoor gardening. I use a variety of pots, trays and flats.

Step #1 – I mix sand, sawdust, and perlite for my soil

Step #2 – I put together my seedling production facility by using a shelf I bought from Costco.

Step #3 – My seeds grow fast on my heat mat.

Step #4 – Shop lights hang from the shelves with a chain that I lower when the seedlings are small. The lights stay on for 16 hours a day 1 inch above the plants.

Step #5 – At first I only use water and keep them wet. 2 days after they sprout, and I know all seeds have sprouted from the same row, then I start to feed my seedlings with nutrients.
